About Me
Hello! I’m so glad you’ve found me.
My name is Jeanie. I support adults and older adults navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, caregiving stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I believe meaningful change begins when you feel understood, supported, and safe enough to be honest. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand the patterns shaping their lives and develop practical, compassionate ways to move toward what matters most to them.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychological Science from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Loma Linda University. I’m a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker in California under the supervision of Golnaz Agahi, LCSW. I have additional training in ACT, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Psychological First Aid, and trauma-informed yoga.
My approach draws from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and somatic coping tools.
My background also includes extensive training in yoga and mindfulness, which informs my interest in mind-body approaches to emotional well-being.
I’m with Arise Wellness Center in Newport Beach, California. We support clients throughout Orange County, with virtual sessions also available. If you’d like to chat more about how I can support you, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
